Our Story

Light Provisions started in winter of 2015, inside a dim Victorian house in Colorado Springs. It didn’t take long to realize that light - or the lack of it - has a way of shaping how a space feels. What began as a simple search for ambiance, fragrance, and atmosphere quickly became something much deeper.

At first, we focused on scent. After months of blending, testing, and refining, we created fragrances built around the same balance and nuance you'd find in a well-made cocktail. Layers of grounded, earthy notes, accented by brighter top notes, always made to burn cleanly.

But over the years, the story of Light Provisions has grown beyond just fragrance. Candles offer more than scent. They offer presence. They help anchor quiet mornings in intention, bring warmth to winter evenings, and create a visual rhythm in the spaces we live in, especially when the days feel darker.

Our refillable candles are hand-poured into vessels designed to refract light through rippled glass, casting subtle patterns across walls and tables. Each vessel is intended for long-term use and refilling - a small way to reduce waste while elevating the experience of light and fragrance.

At its core, Light Provisions makes objects that offer warmth and balance — blending fragrance, design and light into the small moments where we pause, gather and reset.
