Description

Ingredients

Poured by humans in Colorado Springs, Colorado with American-harvested soy wax and food-grade paraffin wax. Our wicks are composed of woven cotton and paper, primed in vegetable wax, and always lead-free. Our fragrances are blends of phthalate-free perfume oils and essential oils.

Loved the candles. They smell so good

Not my fave

I love nearly all of the Light Provisions candles, but this one is not my fave in the bunch. It was a very interesting scent but it was just too strong for my taste.

Unique Tobacco Notes

Like most other Light Provisions scents, this one is quite elegant and warm. I don't get any smoke or charred scents which I appreciate. There's definitely a warm, honey-like scent in addition to some sweeter tobacco notes. This is a great scent for fall or cooler days.

Unfortunate

Honestly I'm a bit disappointed. I got this same candle a couple years ago and was extremely impressed, it quickly became one of my favorite candles over all. Now I ordered a couple more in a larger size and the scent is not the same as the one from a couple years ago. There is still about 1/4 of the old candle left so I can compare side by side. I even had 2 other people compare and they both agreed, it's not the same and it's not as good. It's still a decent candle but it went from a favorite to I probably will not be purchasing again.

Sorry to hear you're not a fan of Walnut & Tobacco anymore. Occasionally, we tweak and adjust the fragrances based on factors like supply, cost, and burn performance. This particular tobacco supplier drastically increased their prices in 2020 so much that it would not have been worth it to keep it in our candles. While we still use that tobacco, we use it in much smaller percentages and mix it with another more reasonably priced tobacco (which might be what you're picking up on). Feel free to reach out if you have anymore questions or concerns.
