When we pour candles, there is always a little extra. The last bit from a production run. Wax left in a pitcher. Test blends that never became part of the collection. Rather than sending it to the trash, we save it.

Over time, those remnants are collected, melted down, and poured into a new candle. The result is a fragrance that can't be replicated and a candle that helps us waste less.

No two batches smell exactly alike. Some lean woodsy, some sweeter, some brighter. The wax may come from past collections, retired fragrances, collaboration projects, seasonal releases, studio experiments, or scent blends that never made it beyond the testing stage.

Because every batch is different, we can't provide fragrance notes or guarantee a specific scent profile. What we can promise is that every Mystery Candle is made from the same quality materials used throughout the Light Provisions studio.
