About the Packaging
Each IYÉ incense box is crafted to be as durable and refined as a traditional wooden case while remaining fully sustainable. The thick paperboard is made from recycled materials, including milk cartons and high-grade paper collected from homes and factories.
In Japan, beverage cartons are made from exceptionally pure pulp, often called “honor paper,” a phrase that reflects respect for good materials. Once the incense is finished, the labels can be removed, and the box repurposed for keepsakes, matches, or regifting.
