A Light and an Incense Holder

Handmade in South Korea, this sculptural object combines an ambient light with a brass incense holder designed for many types of incense. Place it on an entry table, beside a favorite chair, at dinner with friends, or anywhere a small source of light can make a space feel warmer.

From Clay to Finished Form

Each piece is hand-cast, finished, and assembled in South Korea. Small variations in texture, weight, and finish reflect the handmade process.

3 Levels of Light

A built-in rechargeable LED provides three brightness levels, allowing the piece to function as both an incense holder and a soft source of light. Runtime ranges from approximately 3–17 hours depending on brightness.

Solid Brass Holder

A removable solid brass insert sits at the center of the ceramic form and can be removed for cleaning or adjustment. The weight and durability of brass help keep incense secure during use.

Built for Different Sticks

Designed to work with most stick incense, including thin Japanese coreless incense and standard bamboo-core varieties. Three aperture sizes accommodate different stick diameters without additional adapters.

A Place for Daily Rituals

Place it near the door to hold keys, a wallet, small daily essentials, or simply provide a welcoming glow when returning home.

Gather Around the Table

Use it as a subtle centerpiece for shared meals and gatherings. The warm glow creates atmosphere without overwhelming the table.

Beyond Incense

Use it without incense as a calming bedside light, reading companion, patio accent, or evening glow for quiet moments at home.

Process

Handmade objects carry the marks of their making. Explore the process behind each sculptural incense holder and light, from the first pour to the final glow.

01

Casting

Each piece begins as liquid ceramic poured into molds by hand. As the material settles and cures, the first outlines of the final form begin to emerge.

02

Shaping

Once removed from the mold, edges are refined, surfaces are smoothed, and details are carefully adjusted by hand. No two pieces are finished in exactly the same way.

03

Assembly

After kiln firing, the ceramic body is paired with its rechargeable light and solid brass incense holder. Each component is fitted and tested before moving to the next stage.

04

Final form

Before leaving the studio, every piece is checked for fit, finish, illumination, and overall quality. Only then is it packaged and prepared for its journey home.
