Woods Chapter

Every chapter begins with a central idea, this one explores wood.

Woods Chapter brings together four interpretations of some of fragrance's most enduring materials. Cedarwood, sandalwood, palo santo, and woodsmoke have been companions to homes, workshops, places of worship, and quiet moments for centuries.

Rather than recreating these materials exactly as they exist in nature, every fragrance is composed to highlight the qualities that make it worth returning to. Some lean brighter, others smokier or more resinous, but each remains grounded in the quiet comfort that first drew me toward wood fragrances nearly a decade ago.

Like every chapter in On Rotation, these candles are hand-poured in small batches into recycled wine bottle glass collected from restaurants, bars, and tasting rooms around Colorado Springs. They will remain in print only as long as there's demand, leaving room for new ideas while always making it possible to revisit old ones.
