Handmade in Japan from 100% recycled glass recovered from old cathode ray tubes once used in televisions and monitors. Solid and architectural, the Square holder brings a grounded presence to any space, with a pale blue-gray tone that catches and softens light.

The color forms naturally during the recycling process and closely resembles masuhanairo, a restrained blue-gray hue first popularized in the Edo period by kabuki actor Ichikawa Danjuro V. Balanced and understated, it reflects the quiet character of the glass itself.

Each piece is individually cast and polished by hand, resulting in slight variations in tone and form that reflect both the material and the process.
