Our original Palo Santo & Ginger hinted at where this fragrance wanted to go.

So we turned Palo Santo up to 11.

Dry wood takes center stage while resin and gentle smoke linger softly. A subtle warmth rounds the edges, giving the fragrance a finish that feels, dare we say... velvet?

About the Colors

Every vessel begins as a locally collected wine bottle from restaurants, bars, and tasting rooms around Colorado Springs.

The Antique Green glass is the classic color long associated with many red wines and Champagne, while the Amber bottles are less common and offer a warmer, richer tone. Rather than producing new glass, we give these bottles a second life by cutting and finishing them into candle vessels.

Craft & Materials

Each On Rotation candle is hand-poured in small batches in Colorado Springs using our plant-based wax blend and a cotton wick. Every vessel begins as a locally collected wine bottle before being cleaned, cut, and finished into a reusable glass.

No two production runs are exactly alike. The mix of amber and antique green glass reflects the bottles available at the time of each pour, making every release a small snapshot of the local bottle stream.

Once the candle has reached the end of its burn, the vessel can be cleaned and reused for cocktails, coffee, or everyday storage.

Care

Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each burn, and allow the wax to melt to the edges on the first burn to help prevent tunneling. Discontinue use when about 1/4 inch of wax remains.

To reuse the glass, freeze the vessel for a few hours, then break up the hardened wax with a butter knife and wash away any residue with warm, soapy water. If the wick tab remains attached, pour in water around 175°F (80°C) for a minute or two to soften the adhesive before removing it.

The finished vessel is dishwasher safe and ready for its next life.

Woods Chapter

Light Provisions began with a search for the kinds of candles I wanted to burn but couldn't easily find. Wood fragrances were always at the top of that list. Ten years later, it felt like the right time to return to where it all started.

The Woods Chapter explores four classic wood scents through the Light Provisions lens. Rather than recreating them exactly as they exist in nature, each fragrance is blended to highlight the qualities that make each one memorable.

Produced in small batches and poured into hand-cut recycled wine bottle glass, these candles remain in rotation only as long as there's demand.
