If you’ve ever wanted to bring the essence of the woods into your home without feeling like you dragged in the whole forest floor, this is the candle for you.

This scent is carried by crisp, clean notes of cypress, with a finish that offers lingering hints of eucalyptus and amber.

Our touch of genius here, if we may say so, is the dash of lemon zest in the top notes. Perfect for brightening grounded, woodsy scents without overpowering them, lemon zest is a staple in cooking, cocktails, and now this Light Provisions original.

Top: lemon zest, eucalyptus

Middle: cypress, green woods

Base: amber, dry cedar

4.75 oz Travel Tin → compact and portable, ~25 hour burn time
9.5 oz Glass Tumbler → longer burn with a reusable vessel
Refill → designed to be placed inside an existing glass or ceramic container

Wax blend: Soy and paraffin for a balanced, consistent burn
Fragrance oils: Phthalate-free and formulated for clean performance
Wick: Lead-free cotton
No dyes or unnecessary additives

Refills are designed to be used inside an existing vessel and are not intended to burn on their own
After lighting, the wax softens and settles into the container, behaving like a standard candle
Each refill provides approximately 25 hours of burn time
Once finished, the container can be reused again with a new refill

Allow the wax to fully melt to the edges on the first burn to prevent tunneling
Trim the wick to about 1/4 inch before each use
Burn for 2–4 hours at a time for best performance
Keep away from drafts to maintain an even flame
Discontinue use when approximately 1/2 inch of wax remains

Was skeptical, but this is a new fave

I have been a Light Provisions fan for a while but I had never tried this one until recently. I thought I wouldn't like the Cypress aspect. But this one is so lovely! I love that it isn't overwhelmingly strong. It smells fresh and clean, but has a depth to it.... This is a new fave just behind Palo Santo and Ginger and Grapefruit and Moss for me.

Perfect candle

Cyprus and Lemon is the ultimate morning candle. (Does that make sense? Does anybody else have scents they prefer at different times of day)?

I light this in the morning when I'm reading, writing or making music and it smells perfect. Thanks for the recommendation, Brett!

Delicate scent

First of all, the new glasses are just stunning. There's a huge difference in the thickness, and when the candle is lit, it casts such gorgeous light and the flame looks huge.

Onto the scent, this is a warm, subtle lemon scent. It's not strong or medical/industrial, and the cypress grounds the lemon in a manner that isn't overbearing at all. Beautiful.
